In one hour, half of the remaining 64 teams will play for slots in the round of 32 (the third round) of the Big Dance (aka March Madness).

For those who follow my Twitter closely, I have had retweeted some tweets about Harvard basketball, who unfortunately went down in the first round of the NIT, and were one of the biggest snubs by the selection committee as well as the NIT (we ended up a #6 seed in the NIT all the way down from a likely First Four selection).

So for now, my favorite team is the true Ivy League champion, Princeton Tigers, who will face a Kentucky team rebounded from a series of unfortunate events (almost all stars of the Wildcats from last season left for the NBA, and its much-hyped recruit that was intended to replace one of them ended up ineligible and IMHO, would’ve been better off doing a Brandon Jennings [i.e. playing in Europe to get some exposure before the NBA]).

My predicted upset of the day: Old Dominion over Butler (Well, a #9 over a #8, but such upsets are common these days)
